SGEG joints with Hainan lithium hydroxide project

Recently, SGEG and Xingzhihai New Materials, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hainan Mining, signed a cooperation agreement to deepen cooperation and work together for innovation. The Hainan Xingzhihai 20000 ton battery grade lithium hydroxide project has entered the comprehensive construction stage, and is expected to be completed and put into trial production in April 2024, which will effectively promote the development of Hainan's new energy industry.

Hainan Xingzhihai Lithium Hydroxide Project (Phase I) covers an area of 200 mu, with a total investment of 1.056 billion yuan, including 900 million yuan of fixed assets investment. It is planned to build a battery grade lithium hydroxide production line, warehouse and supporting utilities with an annual output of 20000 tons, to provide key cathode raw materials for the production of lithium batteries for new energy vehicles.
